No it will not work to move the GG (IN THE DESIRED MANNER)
That is a "rotary table". It will spin a circular filter (gg) as PS'd first model.
Using a stepper motor (on top)
Tried to use them for focus in 1999.
Very nice work, very precise but not the solution (not to me back then, not for the GG now)
If you need accurate positioning, they are the best though.
