Hello,
I recently finished up a feature, entitled "The Hush", that was shot for 8,000 dollars throughout Oakland CA. The film is in a graphic novel/noir flavor. We shot with a Canon HV20, Nikon primes and a Letus lens adapter. Most of the resources where pulled together by a small group of indie filmmakers and my production company. The film is currently heading into the festival circuit.
Check out the extended trailer:

We focused most of our energy on crafting a unique and compelling story with interesting and 'believable' characters. We spent time color stylizing, doing minor VFX, as well as foley/ADR passes and an original score.
