I was bored and decided I wanted to play with my toys :) any comments or input welcome! Colin McDonald September 5th, 2009, 04:13 AM And I was bored and decided to watch it! I thought it was an inventive and effective treatment of a very simple idea. Well done. I hope you had a "glidecam buddy" to assist you when filming as you appeared to have been walking backwards some of the time. Or perhaps there are some amusing out takes as you went a.over t. (Done it myself). Aaron Almquist September 5th, 2009, 12:35 PM Nope no GC buddy. Just did it by the seed of my pants. I cringe everytime i see actual footage from a stumbling GC opperator Bill Thesken September 6th, 2009, 09:54 PM The color is excellent, this ties into the other thread regarding presets since you used none, and it turned out great with post work. Magic Bullet eh? Aaron Almquist September 7th, 2009, 05:44 PM Thanks for bringing that up Bill. One of the reasons I shot this was because i read that post on the use of presets. In all my previous work I have used presets religiously. However after color correcting with MB I find that my footage is sharper and cleaner without use of a preset. Bill Thesken September 9th, 2009, 01:56 AM Alright, I'm going to throw caution to the wind and try filming irreplaceable footage at the factory preset basically all color set to 0 and see what happens in post. I still can't believe I can bring color out of dull, but I'll try and post something soon. |
