Just FYI for those interested, Sony released SoundForge Pro version 10.0 on Sept 1st. There's special upgrade pricing and other offers until the end of October.

Not a lot of changes except for "event based editing" and I'm not sure just what that is. BWF support is improved. They've enhanced the bundled mastering, rate conversion, time stretch, and dithering plugins. Redbook CD mastering is now built-in. But I agree, it appears the changes are evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

There's a special upgrade offer of $149 until the end of October.
