Yes, it did brake. So I had to make a fast repair. I cleaned out the remaining plastic, and the thin reinforcements on the upper side, to meke room for an 37,5 x 14,4 x 3 mm piece of aluminium. I drilled two 3mm holes for the new 2,5 mm bolts, and drilled in the same holes with a 5 mm to lower the bolts. A 10 mm hole was drilled for the mic tightening bolt.
The underside was filled with epoxy mixed with microballoons, and the holes was drilled after it was hardend. In two corners are a stearing pin on the camera, so the mic adapter was premounted while the epoxy was still soft. Use some vaseline or grease so the epoxy wont stick.
