hi,

just wondering if any one has exported from adobe premiere time line to dvd with m2t files from their HDR-FX1.

i did and i encoutered a choppy look from the footage. and swiggly lines on the edges of objects durning movement.

any one know why this might be?
footage was

1080/60i before conversion.

Using constant bit rate 7mb one pass
16x9 squeezed into 4x3 @ 29.97

thanks

Did you use CineForm?

Are you trying to make a video DVD? You should just use Encore after compressing the footage.

For an HD DVD, use Windows Media 9 HD. (http://www.wmvhd.com/)

using encore or a different program is pointless for me as i am not wanting to author the dvd. i just wanted to see a ruff look at the quality from the HDR-FX1 when down converted to 16x9 letter box (4:3 480i) and exported to a dvd.
