I have a TRV350, adobe premiere pro 1.5, pyro basicDV firewire card and wire, on winXP|512RAM|1.6mhz.
When I go to capture from the camera with adobe premiere, it drops a lot of frames. I have done everything from defragging my system, cleaning it up, and only running the bare system processes and adobe ONLY when I try to capture and it still drops a lot of frames.
So I used Ulead which comes with the pyro card and it as well dropped a bunch of frames.
Anyone have any good tips/suggestions as to why its doing this and how I could tweak adobe/my system so that the frames are not dropped.
Thanks,
