I have Premiere cs 4.1
I downloaded prospect and HDlink works fine, but prospect doesn't start up automatically when premiere does. (The same way aspect used to).

That's correct. We have no real-time engine in CS4 yet, and thus no splash screen.
The latest builds (posted 9/11/2009) do include project presets and an "editing mode", which allows for preview files to be rendered to CineForm instead of I-frame JPEG or uncompressed.
We are working on the real-time engine and hope to have its first implementation available some time next month.
