Hi. I've recently hooked up with some people involved with a local Speaker's Association. There seems to be a lot of opportunity there, but of course, they tell me sound is the most important thing to them. Can anyone recommend a good quality wireless lav mic for use with my GL-2? I appreciate any help.

Hello Mark,
Please use Search (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/search.php?s=) on this topic in this section of the forum. We must have hundreds if not thousands of threads on "What's the best wireless mic".
Rather than start yet another, it's best to first narrow down your questions to specific models.

If sound IS really important. Get a Countryman E6 headworn mic. I do something similar here for clients. The folks doing the speaking sometimes look at the E6 and say, ..."er I'm used to a clip on."
I tell them it like the one Brittany Spears (sp?) uses and they'll forget they have it on in less than five minutes.
Three great things about the E6. It's really light. It gets the mic to within an inch of the mouth so you don't get as much room and when the person speaking turns their head , they are still RIGHT ON MIC.
You can get them hardwired or with the proper plug for your wireless.
I started out with a hardwired version but recently sent it back to have "the link" installed. The link is just a male/female plug combo using the plug my wireless body mic needs. That way I can plug the E6 right into my transmitter, or use it hardwired.
