Does anyone have a link to which (MALE) 12 volt adapter fits the yellow 12 volt input on the back of the EX1? I remember a tread about this, yet can not find the vendor who supplies the male connector.

Is this what your thinking of:

Vortex Media | EXDC1 4-Pin XLR Male to Sony 12V DC Plug | EXDC1 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=workaround.jsp&A=details&Q=&sku=562430&is=REG)

Dallas Video Producer Services (http://www.Dallascamguy.com) Bill. I,m looking for the part # or vendor that provides the (Yellow) connector which vortex is using. I really do not need a 6 foot cable. I have a over the shoulder hand held rig of my own design. I,d like to make a 2 foot long or less cable to the hand held rigs battery. I just need that yellow connector that marry,s to the yellow input on the back of the EX1

The Japanese standards code is EIAJ04. Lots of different manufacturers and styles available. Google that code.

Take it to Radio Shack and match it up (if they have the right size that is). I believe it is Part # 273-1707.
