Gang, I was on the AVID forum a few minutes ago, and talked turned to Halloween and real life ghost encounters. One of the editors worked on a car spot in Europe, and posted this message. (Pretty spooky stuff) you might have to turn up your volume.

Check this out...let me know if you see it, too.
This is a car ad from Europe. When they finished filming the ad the people who made it noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist.

The ad was never put on TV because the unexplained ghostly phenomenon frightened the production team out of their wits.

Watch it and about halfway look and you will see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road......Spooky!

Yeah, I had to get kinda close to the screen to see it.

It looks almost like a cloud of a fog machine. Thats probally what they used. I turned up the speakers and you can here the crew talking barely. Pretty funny.

Ok... thanx...
10 o´Clock in the morning... (for me it´s like 6 o´clock for the normal people, I work at nights)..
So I haven´t even had breakfast.

I Go to the link.. now I got a heart beat doing some pretty fast hardcore tempo...
And my coffee is getting cold because I can´t eat or drink anything.

Anyway, I wonder why the producers decided not to publish the AD. I mean, they must have had a few other takes of that shot where the "Spiritual entity" does not appear.

Well I guess, they decided not to play with the "other side".

I don't think they used bluescreen... the movement of the mist is too natural.... or should I say, supernatural....

This must be a joke... How did they do that?!
I'm waiting for someone with a good explanation of this...

Did anyone noticed the shadow of the mist on the ground!?

Apparently, this video is being studied because of the incredible image. I have to say that when I first saw it...well, let's just say it's required repeat viewings. The first time you watch it...what an experience seeing something so subtle, yet it's right there if you look.

I watched this so closely to make sure I didn't miss it, when it finally came up, I nearly fell out of my chair. Awesome. This can't be for real. BTW, I had my speakers all the way up, and could hear the crew, but couldn't make out what they were saying.

The link's not working anymore. Can someone who saved the file do me a favor and put it in my iDisk public folder (robmoreno). Please.

Sorry Rob, like the ghost itself, I'm afraid it's gone like a mist....

Here Rob, I found a site that has still shot comparisons from the shoot, and the crew audio. You still have to put it up pretty loud to hear, I don't know why they didn't normalize the audio. You have to look closer too becuase the "ghost" or whatever that is isn't moving now.
