Did anybody tried to copy an HD video from FX1 to HD VHS tape via 1394 port? I hope it works! Nobody mentioned it.

You mean to a D-VHS deck... those consumer high-definition JVC decks. Right?

I think there are several posts about this topic on the forum from a few weeks ago, reporting Sony as saying that this kind of transfer will NOT work....

it works with the JVC HD1, it should work with the FX.
If it is real transport stream, it does not matter where it comes from .

I believe there's a few posts by S. Mullen at cc that discusses his success with this method.
