Rob Lohman October 31st, 2004, 07:31 AM Thanks for that Yi! Yi Fong Yu October 31st, 2004, 04:22 PM anyone into 3D animation a la pixar? Rob Lohman November 1st, 2004, 03:56 AM I dabled a bit in 3D some years ago, but nothing really good ever came from it. Takes skill, experience and loads of time <g> Yi Fong Yu November 2nd, 2004, 03:02 PM yesh but i also think there has to be some innate artistic skills. meaning if you can draw that visualization using a pencil then taking time to learn 3D is merely a tool to enhance your original drawing skills. i'm pretty good with computers and even though i know some things about the 3D application (like 3ds max, maya, lightwave, etc.) it takes a true artist to bring all those things to life. it's just like XL2, you can have a good cam but it takes the user to make the moving images to come to life. |
