I know this is an old thread, but I figured I would look to see who is in the Orlando area, and tell everyone that I have moved to Clermont, about due west of Orlando, just off Hwy 50 before you hit Hwy 27.

Better late than never? I am an FX1 owner in Clermont. I use the Adobe Production Studio and distribute on DVD as WM9 for use in the AveL Linkplayer2.

Hi all: I work in Orlando, near Millenia but have moved from Altamonte Spgs. to Leesburg. Just signed onto this forum; found a lot of good service info. for the Canon Gl1 & 2 here. Work in electrical engineering for a manufacturer of pipe line inspection equipment: translation we design & manufacture all our own electronics to put video cameras down sewer & storm drain lines.

Also have 40+ yrs. experience in professional audio (broadcast & recording studios).

I shoot with JVC GY-DV5000 & Canon GL2. Edit w Final Cut Pro on Mac G4.
Shoot fottage of electric railroads (my hobby), weddings & commercial shoots.

Belong to Professional Videographers of Central Fla. We are meeting tonight 3/27/06 at the Apple Store in Mall @ Millenia 7P.M. All are invited.

hehe, almost a year later since the post was started - what is up... also in Orlando. Mostly just a freelance video gun, audio editor/designer and wannabe film maker.

So since the Cinemek forums are still down, I'm wondering if any local Orlando, or central florida, folks who were able to pre-order a G35 are on here?

I'm in southeast Orlando by the airport. My setup consists of an Imac G5 with 2GB RAM and 160 GB Hard Drive. Software package is Final Cut Studio (final cut, motion, soundtrack...). It's cool to see a number of Orlando people on the forums.

I live a little south down in Ft.Myers- Main editing system: AMD 4200 X2 2 gigs of pc 3200 ram and 1 250gig system drive and a 200gig scratch disk..hopfully a matrox card here in the next couple days- and programs are all the adobe programs sonic fire pro 4 and maya 7. i have a quicksilver g4 at school with final cut pro 4

In your browsing I hope you ran across one of the big themes at this oufit: "Content is king." It doesn't matter what camera you're using as long as you're out there shooting. But best wishes in saving up for the GL2! :)

Adobe After Effect 7 Pro (learning Premiere CS3)
Canon XH-A1 and HV10

Current Projects: doing events like wedding or sweet sixteen.
But I would like to get more into the film maker. If you doing any project during the weekend please let me know, I would like to learn more, no need to pay me. I just watch and learn or maybe help a little.
