There was a lot of speculation prior to its release, but now that it has been out a little while I was curious (because of similar chip attributes) if it suffered from smearing as bad as the PDX10, and if so, is it controllable as it sometimes is with the PDX (more so or less so)?

If you mean vertical smearing of strong light source, I have not used a PDX10 but in my observation, the GS400 smears worse than the GS100 and the Optura100.

Well, you just have to choose your shooting angle wisely and I still love GS nevertheless.
