Well, it had been previously announced as going on sale Oct.15 (last Friday) in Japan and Sony Style in Canada is saying, "The anticipated date of arrival is Nov 8, 2004."

I came thisclose to buying one today, but I'd rather buy the pro version.

ps-The camera I use the most is the DVX100A simply because that's what my school uses.
