That would really be the best of both worlds if you could shoot in HDV for future use, but send DV-25 over firewire to edit for the time being. The specs at sonystyle.ca sort of imply this as well: i.LINK DV Convert (Menu) i.LINK™ (DV IN/OUT)/(HDV IN/OUT) Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so would you lose some quality by converting the recorded HDV as opposed to shooting in DV mode? |
