I'm looking for something simple, lightweight, portable and compact very similiar to this one for my JVC GR-HD1.

Anyone know of anything less than $300? This one doesn't seem to be compatible with a standard tripod mount (or maybe it is but it doesn't seem like it from the pics).

Thanks in advance.

For that price, check out the Image 2000 shoulder support with single hand grip over at B&H Photo, one of DVInfo's sponsers. Enter the following in the B&H Photo (http://www.bhphoto.com) search field:

image 2000 support

There is also a dual handgrip one for $100 more. May want to verify if this product will work with your camera though, including with the LCD flipped out.

Ill tell you what...Dont buy it, BUILD IT...
Here is a link to one that i built myself. I just took some aluminum scraps and some misc metals and welded them, then made holes and put a counterweight on the back. And then some cushion for the pushin, the RECORD button, ofcoarse!....nevermind
