Came across this very interesting digital camera, a 2 megapixel vintage replica based on the Rolleiflex 2.8F of 1929. Check out details here on Rollei's website (http://www.rollei.jp/e/pd/MiniD.html).

But since it's a miniature of the original it should automatically make anyone using it look like a dork ;-) I have two real Rollei's like this which my father left me as part of his camera collection... Ken Tanaka October 12th, 2004, 04:59 PM Cute! I wonder how its shots look? Jeff Donald October 12th, 2004, 05:48 PM I loved the old Rollei TLR's. I'm glad they are keeping part of the legend alive. Dylan Couper October 13th, 2004, 12:29 AM That's super cute! I'd buy one if.... if a lot of things, like functions and price, but if it was in the category I was looking at, hands down it would win. ANy idea of a price? Christopher Go October 14th, 2004, 07:43 PM I believe it is available in Japan only, although there are vendors who specialize in bringing such products to the states and elsewhere. Price I saw was for $549, which is high for a 2MP digital camera. Guess you'd be buying it more for novelty reasons.
