Wolff October 8th, 2004, 04:58 AM Adam, You might want to give these sites a look-see. They have several links that might be of use to you: http://www.cybercollege.com/index.htm http://www.videouniversity.com/ Heath McKnight October 8th, 2004, 11:15 AM Film school is best for networking, whether in the industry (like L.A., New york, Vancouver, Miami, etc.) or even just with other students. I don't like that you can't network with filmmakers in your area at school. Of course, I'm biased since I work at a film school. <g> heath Dylan Couper October 8th, 2004, 11:59 AM Got to agree with Heath on that. Networking is everything. Heath McKnight October 8th, 2004, 12:08 PM I still work with one of my fellow students from 9 years ago, Grant Balfour (www.grantimatter.com), who has scored most of my films (www.mpsdigital.com) and co-wrote and co-starred in my first feature, Skye Falling (www.skyefalling.com). But ol' Grant has gotten married and adopted a girl, and has a young stepson, so he pretty much just works on music scores for me. heath |
