Does Anyone know if the SONY HDR-FX1 HDV CAMERA has free run time code? Any help would be great.

The specific specifications regarding Tc may not have been released yet. Be patient.

According to a new report this function will be in the Pro model,
so one would assume it is not in the consumer version.

Thanks for everyones help. That's why I love this site. I think that I will wait until January to look at the pro model. I talked to Brian @ ZOTZ. He was real helpful. He said the same thing, "Wait and look before passing judgement."
