i am dreaming or what ? does it mean: i sale my (old) Sony (PD170 ~7months old) and get for few bucks more the FX1 ?

i just bought some months ago the PD170 here in Taiwan (American Model 110.000NT$ ~ 3200US$) i am satisfied with it... but still considering about HDV :)

i read something similar on camcorderinfo.com but i dont believe that, because... what sony want to do with our (old) vx2100 / pd170 ? upgrade to HDV ? :)
