Cheers, Ben Gurvich Barry Green September 28th, 2004, 10:40 PM Marcus has updated DVFilm Maker software so it'll handle up to 1920 x 1080, so you could definitely use his software to convert the 60i down to a simulation of 24P. Whether it'll be better than any other camera remains to be seen, of course. Graeme Nattress September 29th, 2004, 04:48 AM My Film Effects and Standards Converter for FCP will do this conversion for you. Obviously, I don't have any FX1 footage, but I could take some of the 1080i footage that comes as a sample of the DVCPro100 codec with FCP HD and try it on that for you. I see no reason why it won't be as successful as it is on normal DV footage. In australia its 2.5 grand difference so i dont mind magic bulleting at the end of a project even if it takes long. >>>on second thought, i hated trying to focus that damn pdx10, but it is true 16x9 im confused, i gotta take a time out.
