I've been an XL-1 user for years, and am sorely disappointed that the XL-1s was so little improved over the XL-1 as far as
sharpness and resolution, compared to what other manufacturers
seem to have available. But for what I do (wildlife video) I need the huge telephoto capabilities of the XL-1 with a 35 mm lens attached. Anyone aware of another camcorder that can adapt to 35 mm lenses.
By the way, Chris, I noticed your article in the Watchdog for a
viewfinder protector for $50.00. Here's how to make one for pennies. Cut a doughnut from a piece of 1 inch (outer diameter)
PVC pipe and stuff it with foam. It fits perfectly into the eyepiece.
