Thanks, very interesting and helpful. Especially in a way that you
may not have thought about. As (probably) everyone knows the
whole film scene is very American/English oriented and it can be
a real pain for foreigners (like myself) to find a product in our
countries or get a local name for the English name of the product
or know how it looks.

For example: I knew about clothespins (ehrm, C47 media attach-
ment clip ofcourse), but I didn't know if they looked the same
overthere as they do here (they do!). And after watching your
video I now know for sure and know how a bunch of other stuff
actually looks. So thanks a lot for that!

Are you going to do other series like flags, scrims, nets, gobo's,
reflectors etc.?

The Indie helper series is a great resource and help.

Another possible subject if it is an area you feel confident is a sampling of actual lighting techniques to create a certain look or mood.
Could also tie in the use of gels and diffusion which lends marvelously to demonstrating the multi uses of the grips best friend, the C47 !

C47, also known as a "bullet" in some circles...

other than its obvious uses for attaching gels, can be physically reversed and turned into a tweezer-type tool for extracting hot scrims from lights.

That was a while back, but I think I shot that Indie Tech Tip with my little Canon ZR40 because my DVX100 was out on loan. Most of the time I shoot them with the DVX. I've been busy latetly, but hope to shoot a new tech tip soon.
