I'm using a Z1 tomorrow to shoot some PAL footage for a client. Can anyone tell me if I'll be able to use my external NTSC monitor while shooting or will I need to get a PAL monitor?

Boyd Ostroff August 24th, 2009, 02:24 PM The Z1 cannot transcode between PAL and NTSC in realtime, so you will need a monitor which can handle the same format you're recording in.
