Hi all,
I have both Premiere Pro 1.5(recently upgraded my old 6.5) and Vegas 5.0b - still I can't find a solution.
I'd like to display the shoot-date from the DV AVI, the date when I filmed the event.
As far as I can see neither Vegas or Premiere can show this information at all? Found a freeware util called date-code that scans a DV AVI and generates a textfile with date+time code ... but I must say that I'm rather surprised that the NLE doesn't support this simple feature from start.
I've also found free/shareware programs that can convert the date-code textfile into subtitles for DVD-making....also a function I expected to be "built in" ( using Encore ).
In Vegas maybe the date+time is available through the scripting interface...haven't checked that out yet.
Am I missing something? Or are the programs lacking this functions?
