I have been debating between Elements 7 or CS4. I think for my needs, Elements will be a lot faster and easier and it seems to be very powerful.

Just taking a rollcall to see who here is using Elements as their program of choice?

I use it - as well as CS3.
PE7 for a quick and dirty AVCHD edit,
CS3 (via Neo Scene) for more demanding stuff...
