Team 3.2 Million Miles created a 6 minute short for the 48 Hour Film Project that screened last night at the University of Northern Kentucky. Over 200 people were in attendence of each of the 3 screenings.

Always Late was made as a part of the 48 Hour Film Project 2004 in Cincinnati Ohio.

The 48 Hour Film Project is an international competition where at 7:PM on Friday night, teams of filmmakers are handed a GENRE, CHARACTER NAME, LINE OF DIALOGUE, and a PROP. All 4 must appear in their film and it must be written, shot, edited and rurned in by 7:PM on Sunday. 3.2 million miles accepted this challenge and we succeeded in completing our film on time & delivered, in an ironical twist "Always Late" was the first entry turned in.

Nice idea, original! I thought the acting and the looks could've
improved some and perhaps the cutting a bit. But it was
certainly enjoyable!

After the fact, there are many things I'd change, but this is what we did in 48 Hours... to change it now would betray the spirit of what we set out to do.

I totally forgot this was done in 48 hours, thanks for pointing that
out. That gives you extra credits in my view. Good job!

The DVD is already for sale at my cost. I'm not abou tthe money. That's why there's so much free stuff on my site too.

Why Sonnyboo? I wanted a name I was guaranteed no one else already had. So I named the company after my brother's stuffed gingerbread man. Fairly certain no one else had the name "Sonnyboo".

That was excellent Peter !!!

Very entertaining and good job, especially considering it was a 48 hour production.

I honestly thought this was one of the best videos you've done. Really tight, really well-acted, funny, unpredictable. Most of the 48 stuff I've watched has been lots of long shots. This does not come across as a rushed job in the least...

It was... we were shooting at the restaurant within 2 hours of having the script. Minimal rehearsals, just a table read, then blockign rehearsals then the dolly shot was setup & shot within moments.

Regarding that article about the group that didn't make the deadline, I have to say that it's my least favorite thing about the 48-Hour Film Project. With our version of the concept (www.instantfilms.tv), we don't encourage last minute arrivals at the screening, but it makes for good drama with the crowd when the filmmaker sprints in with tape in hand minutes before their film is scheduled to be shown! It makes the show live and lively in our opinion.
