Robert Knecht Schmidt August 15th, 2004, 10:46 AM It is a very nice picture, but they seem to still be working out the bugs: the picture blacks out for a second every now and then. They re-aired the opening ceremonies about five times, which got ridiculous, and now we can all mouth that WEGA ad by heart. Hey Todd! Hey Todd! Hey guys. Whatchya doing? Watching the game. In high def? Yeah. Can we watch too? I don't know. We brought chips. Orchestra hit. And salsa! OK... Shawn Mielke August 15th, 2004, 11:48 AM On a fairly related note, has anyone seen Kon Ichikawa's Tokyo Olympiad 1965? I can't recommend this cinematic treatment of the Olympics highly enough. Robert Mann Z. Yeah that commercial is the devil. |
