Hey,
I live in Toronto Canada and i want to buy a Panasonic GS400, although the Canadian price is way too much for me. Therefore I have come up with a few different options:

1. Buy the camera off an unreliable site like CDW (1150US)
2. Buy the camera off reliable site like B&H (1500US)
3. Take a trip across the border and buy the camera at a local US store (most likely (1500US)
4. I will be travelling to Hong Kong later this month, would it be possible to get a cheap english version there?

I can;t really afford the 1500US therefore option 1 or 4 would be more preferable. Although I'm not too sure how reliable CDW is, and I've never been to Hong Kong before but i've heard electronics are very cheap there. Any help would be appreciated, Thx

As you live in an NTSC country you should consider that in HK is most likely only the PAL version available!
Suggest you to take a short trip from HK over here to Taiwan where the english NTSC model is available now. The first price I was told yesterday is around 1250US$ in a small shop, but I'll check others too. I guess some discount is possible as usual here.
