hey out there,
I have a question for those of you in the corporate production industry.
I have an opportunity to offer my video services to a large corporate restaurant. The company wants to improve its in-house training videos, and my job will basically be to go in, review where they're at and "elevate" the production value.
This service would include recommending equipment, consulting with the training team on video goals and training sessions in pre-production, production, editing and DVD creation.
I am proposing this as a two week job. Week One is theory, rules, equipment ordering and pre-production work. Week Two is Shooting, editing and DVD creation.
After that they will be on their own, and ideally will have the knowledge and training needed to produce all training videos in-house.
My question is, how much should I charge for this service?
Is $2000 too low?
Also, I don't know yet what kind of budget they have for equipment... so I realize this may be a difficult question.
Thanks for the input! Great site!
