It's flesh-colored, and sticks out big-time on dark backgrounds.

What are my options for this issue?

I had some white stuck'os (my name for it) and flicked the black balance toggle a couple of times and wallah, gone.

... and wallah...

wallah |ˈwälə|
noun Indian or informal
a person concerned or involved with a specified thing or business : [i]ice cream wallahs.
• a native or inhabitant of a specified place : Bombay wallahs.
ORIGIN from the Hindi suffix -vālā ‘doer’ (commonly interpreted in the sense [fellow] ), from Sanskrit pālaka ‘keeper.’

... or did you mean "voilà"

voilà |vwäˈlä| (also voila )
exclamation
there it is; there you are : “Voilà!” she said, producing a pair of strappy white sandals.
ORIGIN French.

Sure enough, Andy -- a couple of black balances and now it's gone. Is there a procedure that will go back in time and mask it out on the images I already shot? :-)

There are plugins for FCP that can remove dead pixels.

Plugins for Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express by CHV-electronics (http://www.chv-plugins.com/cms/Fx-Script/Repair-collection/Dead-Pixel.php)

Even better ... there are free ones! :-)

Adam Wilt even teaches you how he wrote a bunch of his homegrown FxScript filters for FCP if you fancy having a bash:
ProVideo Coalition.com: Apple | Vendor Blog (http://provideocoalition.com/index.php/apple/story/fxscript_fcps_most_under_appreciated_feature/P2/)

Embedded in the page linked above is a direct download link:
