The best was when I got to see a Panasonic MX350 for a couple of minutes. The worst was this past year with never having an opportunity to lay my eyes and hands on a Panasonic GS100. Thank you very much. :-))

Well i'm in Vancouver Frank...you can come see my gs100 any time you like, although now that the gs400 is making my poor mamba obselete, what's the point? Just kidding, nothing will make my cute lil' japanese camera obselete...EVER!!!!

Never say never. :-))

PS: thanks for the offer. Dylan, by the way, got to see my now old MX300. Wait a few more years and your Mamba will be old too. :-))

I just wish my PV GS400 would get here. Panasonic Canada says it should ship soon. I have a customer who wants one, but the first one in MINE. Wahahahahahahahaha!

What i really wish I could afford is a DVX100a, but even the GS400 is stretching my budget a little.

Probably Sept. for the GS400 to become available in Canada. The Japanese have all the luck.

Not really.

In Japan, you have to shell out about

$1 for a liter (not gallon ne) of gasoline.
$1 for a can of coke
$3 for a decent cup of coffee (with no refill - mom almost had a heart attack)
$6 for Mcdonald's value meal (with no endless refill)
at least 2x the US price of most brand items

so whatever I save in electronics, I spend more just to live :-(

What are you moaning about -- those are the kind of prices we pay in New Zealand as well (and only Burger King offers the endless refills).

The difference is that the average income in NZ is only about US$22K

It may be paradise here - but your locally earnt dollar doesn't go very far :-(
