Hi all,
I bought a video-editing laptop so that I can work on PPro (CS3) projects when on the move.
So I've copied the project folder in its entirety from the desktop to the laptop. Works fine.
If i do some work though, save the project file and replace the original with it (e.g. laptop to desktop, or desktop to laptop), then it goes through all those notions of asking 'Where is the file xxx.xx'. This is easy to do, but a bit time-wasting.
Is it because the folder on the desktop is E:/FilmEdits/Project1 and on the laptop it is D:/FilmEdits/Project1 ??? In other words, do the drive letters need to be the same, to 'fool' PPro into thinking it's on the same PC???
Thanks in advance to anyone that can solve this for me!!!
