Greetings to All!

My "A.o.S.", short DV, is in the works, the title reveals too much so I've abbreviated it for the moment. Scheduled to shoot on various days in August and early September. Using the XL1S.

Locations slated for New York and literally the Woods of Maine.

This marks my first.

Rock N' Roll!

Thanks for all your support!

Cheers!

< - - - We'll be in touch E. PATRIC.

I was nailed by something unexpected because of my own and other actors union status. I need to get a contract together at SAG even for this short. I'm taking a jaunt over to SAG to find out the details...

A pain in the arse, however, necessary. HAR HAR.

Talk to you sooner...

Just thought you would like to know...

I am using union (SAG/AFTRA/AEA) talent in my short featurette. I am wading my way through the paper work. Here are some things for those of you out there, if you don't already know, regarding the SAG EXPERIMENTAL CONTRACT Agreement.

Preliminary:

1. Fill out FORM PA and mail in a check ($30.00) to the U.S. COPYRIGHT OFFICE. (I didn't do this and its gumming things up)
2. A budget.
3. Shooting Schedule.

The first one is giving me the most problems because the contract will not be approved by SAG unless they have a copy of FORM PA and it copyrighted.

I'm seeing if I can move them along, as I scribble out this text.

No Obstacle is too large to overcome. A wee challenge that shall be done! HAR HAR!

Business JEEZ! I just want to shoot...

This weekend... (AUG 16-18) We journey deep into the woods of Maine for some visual/audio footage.

The paperwork is almost completed, workers compensation insurance purchased, and contracts signed.

On the move...!

Send one up to Mother Nature for NO RAIN!

Cheers!

Where in Maine are you heading to, I haven't heard of rain for the weekend but it is supposed to be HOT! Bring the bugspray as well (don't want to get west nile virus!)

Marc,

Heading to the outskirts of Gray, Maine. Home of the 50 pizza palors and two gas stations.

Thanks for reminding me. We'll be on/near a small stream that the West Nile may be lingering in. Excellent advice!

Bugspray, a little "Ben's 100/Deep Woods Off" CHECK!

Cheers!

I was born and raised there. A wee bit out of my element here in NYC.

I try to get to Maine at least once every 5-6 weeks.

Anyways!

Thanks for the bug reminder, 'tis the season.

Don't want to be bit by no tsetse fly.
