can i ask a question about pixel shift?
what is the different between XL2 and XL1S ?
XL2- pixel shift with horizontal
XL1s-pixel shift with horizontal and vertical
doesn't mean xl1s has a higer resolution than xl2

can anybody help to clarify my confusion about pixel shift?

thanks

Horizontal pixel shift is a physical half pixel shift and allows higher resolution (or less aliasing for the same resolution). Vertical pixel shift allows pseudo progressive scan and is only a read-out shift. Adds some vertical resolution as compared to line doubling or line interpolation.

The XL1 used vertical pixel shift for frame mode and for the digital zoom effect.
