Hey everybody,

I can't seem to make the print to video function work. Two weeks ago I did a print to video without any problems, but now I don't have a preview tone, and when I start the process it runs but I don't get a picture or any audio on my HVX200. So it doesn't record anything. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

The footage is DV-Pal anamorphic and the settings of the sequence as well. I've read on the internet that you might have to change the audio/video setting. I only have the Playback Output on. Video is Apple firewire Pal (720 x 576) and Audio is Firewire DV. I didn't check the box under that (different Output).

I have the HVX connected with firewire cable/ It's connected to an external harddrive with firewire 400, and the external harddrive is conncected to the Mac Pro with firewire 800. That shouldn't be the problem as I did that before and all worked well. The Log and capture worked fine, so that shouldn't be it.

What am I doing wrong?

I solved the problem. Under View select External Video. Then select All Frames. If the computer is reading the camera, you'll see the video in the camera. Mine was somehow set on off. After that I did a refresh A/V devices and it worked.
