Has anyone seen this yet?

It's a doc based on the life of movie producer Robert Evans (Godfather, Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown, True Grit, Love Story). This guy has lived one hell of a life.

It was a huge hit at Sundance.

It should be open in select cities. Check it out!

Saw it last night. Good story. Uses stills and effects more than original film to tell the story. Uses a lot of Evans' narration from the audio version of his book. A lot of ego and bluster but entertaining.

Don't think it's in general release yet. When it is, the best bet in Houston is the Greenway Theater at 5 Greenway Plaza in Houston. I seem to remember that being the main indie pix movie house in Houston.

No, it's not playing in the city yet...d@mnit. I have been waiting and waiting for it.

I know it's out on the west and east cost.

Greenway is OK...but If it is released here...I bet it will be screened at the Angelika or River Oaks. I'm going to see "The Importance of Being Earnest" tonight (River Oaks).

Didn't know abut Angelika or River Oaks. Greenway was one of my hangouts when I was working a project in Harris County some months back.

Hmmm...might have to sneak away this week and see it. I am bummed that I did not catch Reservoir Dogs at the Angelika. It just ended playing there this week.

Thanks for the heads up on The Kid Stays in the Picture.
