Hello,
I'm a professional still photographer (Eos 1 Ds and 1DMKII) considering to buy the XL2. I understand that the lens is removable that even EF lenses can be used. The problem is - correct me if I'm wrong - that the 7 times multiplicating factor turn my widest EF lens - a 16mm - into a 100 mm (35 equivalent) and my 200 mm becomes a 1400 mm. Sure it might be useful for shooting birds but I don't see much potential for other appplications (except sometime for portraits).
Well besides the few lenses designed by Canon specifically for the XL2 wich other lenses can be used ? and what would be the benefit in terms of focal range, quality, depth of field ?
Thanks for your input. S.
