Now THERE'S a smart looking cam (the dvc60). I would have to say that that's my favorite release so far this year. It's a DVC30 in a shoulder mount style body, right? Hunka hunka.
HC1000 whatever...

Is there anymore info on the dvc60 floating around? My interest is peaked.

See this thread (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28806) for discussion of the HC-1000. It's basically a repackaging of the TRV-950. The main upgrade is that it features the same high quality 16:9 as the PDX-10, and the black finish looks attractive. I personally find most of the other features a step in the wrong direction, like a smaller battery, lower resolution viewfinder/LCD screen and especially the move away from physical manual control to touch screen functions. We won't know for sure until people get them in their hands, but it appears that Sony has used the same lens but just paid Zeiss to put their name on it.

Does the DVC60 have 1/4" or 1/3" chips? Bet it's the
1/4".
