Need to be able to use the camera mic as one input, and hook an XLR into the other input. Have found I can get the XLR input in and working if I run it into Input 2, but then can not seem to be able to get the camera mic sound coming into Input 1. Don't have a manual, as I am renting the camera. What settings do I need to have on the camera to make this work?

The channel 1 switch should be set to channel 1 only and the phantom power should be on.

Check the menu to make certain the sound level controls are in manual and are split.
