Hi everyone, it's been sometime since I've been around here. I was just wondering if there were any good recomended books on making feature films using DV cameras? or any recomend reads about film making in general, and lighting for films? Writing, directing, and filming have always been a fantasy of mine. I have been around DV as a hobbie for the last couple of years, did some music video stuff for some friends last year, and really cought the bug. When I search on amazon.com I see so many books out there, not sure which ones to start with.

Thanks for any input

Although not everyone likes his style, personally I really enjoyed Scott Billups Digital Moviemaking (http://www.pixelmonger.com/home.html) which I read when it first came out about 3 years ago. He now has a revised edition available. Have a look and see what you think. I also like DV Magazine (http://www.dv.com/magazine/), which has a variety of articles on this topic.

Jeff: I have moved your thread to our dedicated book forum. Please
browse around in this forum since there have been at least
numerous suggestions for lighting books already. Thank you.
