I love my GL2, but I guess I'm just having bad luck with the camera. (A couple months ago I sent it to Canon after a fuse blew. I was very happy with the service, though--was fixed and returned in less than 2 weeks).
Recently when I attempt to rewind, the timecode starts flashing on and off and I get the "eject the cassete" message. What's interesting is that this only starts occuring when the camera has been operating for a few minutes and has warmed up.
Here's my question: since I'm leaving for Europe in a few days and don't have time to send it in for repair, and it seems to have no problem recording, should I continue using it to shoot (Lance Armstrong winning his 6th tour!) during my trip, and get it fixed when I return??
Thanks, Vlad
