I'm putting together a setup for recording mostly presentations etc... I'm getting the below. I am open to any comments or suggestions; this is all pretty new to me. I was going to get an XL1s but everyone recommended the DVX100a so that's what it looks like I'm going to go with. Please let me know if you think I'm missing anything, or if you think something else would be better... thanks

-- DVX100a + Mack 4-Year Extended Warranty
-- PortaBrace MINI-DV CS-DV4/CR4
-- Broadcast 17 Prompter http://www.prompterpeople.com/
-- Bogen 3046 Tripod Legs with 516 Pro Video Fluid Head - Supports 22.00 lb
-- 2x AT899 - Sub-Miniature Omni-Directional Lavalier Condenser Microphone with AT8537 Power Module
-- 2x XLR Cable - 50 ft
-- General Brand 72mm UV Protector Filter

I’m getting all the above from B&H other then the PortaBrace and the Prompter.

Thanks for any input.

You may get some additional ideas from Jacques' recent thread (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26996) on an identical topic.
