Has anyone experienced a "ringing" or buzzing noise from the PD170 audio, especially immediately after someone has finished speaking? I've tried a friend's PD170 just to make sure it isn't just my camera, and hers does it as well. Any ideas?

Go into the menu and turn OFF NR. It seems that it's a "filtered" noise reduction circuit ment to reduce motor noise on a camera mounted mic but the filtering sounds almost like a "ring modulator." Turn it off and the problem goes away.

Going into the menu is the way for PD170 to get rid of the ringing sound, but how about the VX2000? There is no menu item to switch off the MIC NR.
