Hey Folks, I noticed tonight when I tried out the 85mm 1.2 on my Brevis I lost the focus control on the lens. So I hooked it back up on my DSLR and it works but only if the power is on. Does anyone know if the focus can be adjusted manually without power ?

hey jason,

no you can't use it with the brevis and get focus, even in manual. the focusing system on several L series lenses still needs power even to allow for manual, so that means a set focus when used on the brevis.
