Hi Guys.
I used to create DVDs using Ulead MediaStudio 6 and DVD Workshop 1. Never a problem. I've now started using Premiere Pro and Ulead DVD WS2. All is fine except when I come to burn a dvd. The first process by DVD WS2 is 'converting the files' (I assume from avi to MPEG). No problem except the time! I am currently burning a 35 min video and the conversion is taking in excess of five hours! Is this correct or have I got the wrong encoders? System is Athlon XP 1600, 512MB RAM with a Matrox G450 card and plenty of HDD space. Is this not good for either Premiere or DVD WS2?
Any guidance (even confirmation that the length of time is standard) would help.
Thanks
