You are just starting out and you need the widest angle possible to hide the flaws in your operating 2. You want a specific visual effect that a wideangle can give your shot. In short, it's up to you but also understand that the distortion of a wide angle lense draws attention to itself, (think skateboard videos) so you have to decide whether that is an effect you want.
