what wireless audio device would you guys reccommend using with the pd-150? basically i need it to plug into the dj's mixer at receptions.
i'm not looking for the best wireless device in the market but rather one good enough to get the job done and best for it's price.

thanks.

I've been looking at low end wireless...

Wireless Microphones (receiver mounted on camcorder )
1. Azden WDR-PRO VHF + WLTPRO = $260 lavalier transmitter/receiver diversity
2. Azden 100LT UHF $330 lavalier transmitter/receiver diversity
3. Sennheiser EW100ENG-G2 UHF $549 lavalier transmitter/receiver & hand held mic transmitter

At the sub 500.00 price point, you're limited. For music, the AT88W can't be beat, since it has no compander. You never want to compress/expand music at the wireless if at all possible. However, this AT doesn't have distance. Anything further than 50 feet is a risk. It's VHF. Any VHF unit is a risk at anything further than 30 feet or so.
I'd recommend the Senn over the Azden any day of the week.

You might want to consider the AKG PR40 series.
The receiver runs on 3 AAA batteries.
The transmitter on 2 AA batteries
I've used the WMS40 with no problems.

B&H has the AKG PR40 LAV SYS w/PT40 & CK55L
for $339.

While the 4.5 volts furnished by the 3 batteries can be bumped up, the 9 volts the Senn runs on means a lot more available power for the transmitter and other circuits.

Available voltage levels does have some value in transmitters and receivers.

I think the price/performance champ is the Sennheiser systems.
